Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings and Deposits

A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a 30% non-refundable deposit. The balance is due 60 days before departure. For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required immediately.

2. Cancellation Policy

• 90+ days before departure: deposit forfeited, no additional charge
• 60–89 days: 50% of total tour cost
• 30–59 days: 75% of total tour cost
• Less than 30 days: 100% of total tour cost

Note: Gorilla permit fees (USD 800–1,500 per person) are non-refundable once issued.

3. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance including medical evacuation is mandatory for all Masonda safaris. We strongly recommend coverage of at least USD 100,000 for medical evacuation from remote areas.

4. Health Requirements

Clients are responsible for ensuring they meet all health requirements for their safari destinations including vaccinations (Yellow Fever certificate required for Uganda; recommended for Tanzania), malaria prophylaxis, and any visa requirements.

5. Itinerary Changes

Masonda reserves the right to alter itineraries if necessary for safety, weather, or circumstances beyond our control. We will always endeavour to provide equivalent or superior alternatives.

6. Liability

Masonda African Adventures is fully licensed and insured under Tanzanian tourism regulations. Our liability is limited to the total cost of the safari. We are not liable for force majeure events including natural disasters, political instability, or pandemics.
